    Excellent Cleaner

I have been using the Dolphin Nautilus for about 2 months now and so far been completely satisfied. This cleaner comes with 2 different types of removable screens that trap the dirt from the pool. One is for heavy leaf and debris pick up while the other is more for finer particulates. They are very easy to remove, clean, and reinstall. I actually prefer this type as opposed to the "bag" type I had been accustomed to using. The power cord is a little longer than other robotic cleaners I have used and seems to not twist up in knots. The cleaner completely removes dirt from my pool (20' X 40'inground) in about 2 hours. Rarely it might miss a small leaf or two but for the most part does an excellent job. It will also climb the walls preventing any dirt or algae buildup. The pump that makes the water flow through its filtration system appears to be quite strong. When the cleaner is in the shallow end you can really see the water rippling the surface of the water. The power supply has a... 5/5 Kman90 (Jamesburg, NJ USA) - See all my reviews I have been using the Dolphin Nautilus for about 2 months now and so far been completely satisfied. Fabulous Pool Vac

I love this pool vacuum. We have a large pool - 20' x 40' and 10' deep in the deep end. We also live in a wooded area surrounded by oak trees. It used to take us 2 hours to vacuum the pool, backwash the pump, etc. Since we got the Dolphin, it's a 5-minute set up and a 5- to 7-minute clean up. The Dolphin runs for approximately 2 hours, and picks up lots of bugs, leaves and dirt. Starting it is easy - plug the power box into an outlet, plug the Dolphin into the power box, place the Dolphin in the water, swaying it back and forth to release air bubbles, feed cord into the pool, and turn on the power. Dolphin moves in a random pattern all over the pool, much like a Roomba on a carpet. Fine filters trap dirt and bugs in the Dolphin. I am always surprised at how much dirt it captures. When the Dolphin is done, remove it from the water (I like to do this as close to the skimmer as possible due to some particles coming out as the Dolphin is lifted from the water), wash off the... 5/5 Avid Reader "hungryjenn" (Tucker, GA USA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Nice Upgrade. Works Well!

I have had this unit for 2 weeks after replacing an original Aquabot unit that I had for 12 years. The Tigershark unit operates very different from the Aquabot unit, making frequent turns and changes in direction. This unit also moves a lot faster than the Aquabot and is a lot easier to clean. I have only used it in "Full Clean" mode and it does an adequate job (sometimes I have to run it twice, but so what). Unit climbs the walls to the waterline and doesn't get stuck on either of my 2 main drains, which seemed to be where my Aquabot lived. I like that the unit shuts off after the estimated cleaning period. Cleaning the filters, once you get the hang of it, is much easier than the Aquabot bag and putting the botton unit back in is a snap. The Aquabot unit that I had worked well, although I had to replace parts every 3-4 years. The Tigershark seems like the next technological upgrade to that pool cleaner, and costs only $100-$200 more than the Aquabot replacement. If I... 5/5 T. Not the machine I expected

The Tigershark QC was highly recommended by a friend who has had good experiences. Thus far, two weeks or so after opening the box and getting the Tigershark into the pool, I am disappointed. I have a full size pool, 18 x 38 as I recall (I haven't measured it in years) with a deep end. This machine will not clean your entire pool, not in 1 three hour cycle, or in 3 three hour cycles. It will get to 2/3, maybe 3/4 of the pool in that time. It will only occasionally climb a wall, so you will have to brush the sides, not a big job, but a job I did not expect to have. It will run right over and not pick up full size leaves ( there were only a handful in the entire pool - I was not expecting anything extraordinary) I have not had anything on the Tigershark break yet, but the bottom latch and filter cartridge, which must be handled often in order to clean the filters, feel flimsy. The plastic is thin, and feels brittle. It would be easy to break either part. This is not an inexpensive... 3/5 Harold - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) What a champ!

This was my first robotic cleaner. I did research for weeks before settling on this model because of its good price/feature ratio. I was not disappointed.I had a tough situation. I bought my house in November but the previous owners didn't leave a pool cover. The pool stayed uncovered for 5 months.I opened the pool in April and started cleaning. I couldn't see past the first foot of water. I removed what I could from the bottom and then set the tiger shark to work. The first 5 cycles, I had to take it out every 15 min to clean the filters of all sorts of disgusting things that almost made my loose my lunch! The robot kept on churning, covering the entire surface of the pool, climbing walls and stairs, and reaching the waterline. One week of that regimen and a lot of chemicals brought my pool back. The power cord does get twisted but it doesn't affect function. It just makes it harder to put it away. I really wish they had solved this problem.I also noticed... 4/5 Ayayou (MD, USA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Works well. but which one?

I've been taking care of my pool and buying stuff for it for several decades. In that time I've had a number of automated cleaners, so the question is how do you choose one. Note that all of them are expensive, but the range of price is large, so what do you get for more or less money.First off, my preference is strongly for the self contained corded units. I've owned the barracuda type cleaner and polaris types that are dependent on suction from your skimmer or external pump. When you most need them, when the pool is really dirty, the suction is least reliable. The hoses are also bulky and a nuisance to deal with.If you look at the range of Aquabot cleaners you will see price ranges for in ground cleaners from $300 up to $2000 and more. This unit is now my 3rd Aquabot (so yes I like them, but yes they don't last all that long). My FIRST AQUABOT was an Aquabot Turbo, probably similiar to... 5/5 mrmac - See all my reviews This review is from: Aquabot AJET121 Pool Rover S2-40 Robotic Pool Cleaner Ideal for Above-Ground Pools (Lawn & Patio) I've been taking care of my pool and buying stuff for it for several decades. Worked great!....Until it broke.

We purchased this item for our brand new Intex 16'x32' above ground pool. It came in the box already assembled and ready to plug in and use, along with an extra set of debris bags. We plugged it into a dedicated 20amp GFIC we had an electrician run along with another dedicated 20amp GFIC for our pool pump/filter system and ran it 2-3 times a week on the large cycle setting due to the size of our pool. It worked fantastic for about 6 weeks and then one day it just flat out stopped working. The unit would power on with no issue but within a few seconds of starting its cycle it would stop and the power unit small and large cycle setting blue led indicators began flashing synchronously and indefinitely. As of today we've reached out to the seller whom we purchased this through on amazon to find out if we can get a replacement.UPDATE (08/08/13): We contacted the seller through Amazon and explained the failure of the unit.
