    Small and powerful

I was looking for a small, powerful and inexpensive vacuum cleaner, and this is EXACTLY what I got with Dirt Devil Dynamite. I was looking to replace my old stick-type vacuum cleaner which was okay for hardwood, but just too weak to pick up anything from carpet.I already have a fairly large carpet steamer which I regularly use. I didn't want another clunky machine to take up very expensive square footage in my house. I also paid quite a bit for that steamer, so I didn't want to shell out for a vacuum as well. However, I did want a vacuum cleaner with some power to it.1) SMALL: The first thing that caught be by surprise is how remarkably small this vacuum cleaner is. I think the lady in the picture is rather short because the canister part hardly even reaches my kneecaps! Size-wise it almost looks like a child's toy!2) ASSEMBLY: There's virtually no assembly required. Just snap in the handle and it's good to go.3) POWERFUL: It picked up... 5/5 Ena (Chicago, USA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This thing sucks

I got this vacuum for thirty bucks so keep that in mind. There are units out there that cost ten times that. So how does the Dynamite Plus stack up? It sucks! Very, very well. I don't think I have ever used a vaccum that had such powerful suction. I bought a Dirt Devil cordless unit (the one that no one seems to like) about a year ago and it was garbage. I wondered if anyone really needed cordless while in the confines of their own home. Most likely not. Why not trade the dubious benefits of cordless for maximum sucking power? For the price there is proably no vacuum made that is more powerful. So why only 4 stars? Despite a vacuum that seems well built, convenient, light, bagless, portable, etc., there is one thing that is insanely ridiculous about the Dynamite Plus' design. All of that powerful suckiing power shoots right out a front grill of the vacuum. Like a tornado!!!! The first time I used it was in the kitchen it it literally blew all of the photos and notes off my... 4/5 PhotoGraphics (Southwest U.S.) - See all my reviews, December 6, 2007

This review is from: Dirt Devil Dynamite Plus Bagless Upright Vacuum with Tools, M084650RED (Kitchen) You really can't beat the price for the quality and ability of this little vacuum cleaner. But beware, it is little, best for smaller spaces or an apartment. The suction and hose attachment function well. It's very portable and easy to remove the canister. Although getting all the debris out of it takes a good amount of shaking. All in all a nice option if you don't have a lot of square footage and want a light, little cleaner. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 27, 2010

    Works for me!

We struggled between buying this unit and the comperable Dirt Devil offering, when we saw them at the local discount stores. Liking the stiffer dual-rotating beater-bar style brushes on the Bissell better than the much softer brushes on the spinning disk the Dirt Devil had, we settled on the Bissell. At the store, the only negative factor for the Bissell appeared to be it's one-year warranty, versus the two-years offered with the Dirt Devil. We did not consider a cordless model, presuming they would be less powerful. We also did not consider a model without scrub brushes.I used our new Bissell briefly last night on a couple of recent pet stains, and it did a good job. Today, I used it on all the rest of the pet stains on our light living room carpet, many of which were old. Almost all of them lifted well. The Bissell clean tank will hold a full 8 oz. (3-4 oz. cleaning product and 4 oz. water), compared to the Dirt Devil that only holds a total of 6 oz. It does a decent... 4/5 Sandi Hultman "SandiDandi" (Coon Rapids, Minnesota United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: BISSELL Spotlifter Powerbrush Handheld Deep Cleaner, 1716B (Kitchen) We struggled between buying this unit and the comperable Dirt Devil offering, when we saw them at the local discount stores. One powerful little cleaner

0 5/5 Samantha Rupinski (Oconomowoc, WI) - See all my reviews This review is from: BISSELL Spotlifter Powerbrush Handheld Deep Cleaner, 1716B (Kitchen) I have mostly hardwood in my home, but I do have a little bit of carpet, so I bought one of these for the small spots and spills. I have 3 kids and 2 dogs, so it seems that accidents are a daily occurence. I used this Spotlifter on some old pop stains that have been on the carpet for months, and it got them out no problem. I couldn't believe how well it worked and how dirty the water was that came out of my carpet. It worked so well that I decied to try it on my couch and chair, and it did a great job on them as well. Next stop was my car's interior, which was no small feat. It made my 6 year old minivan look and smell almost new. Buying this Spotlifter was definitely money well spent. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , June 3, 2003

    Surpisingly good machinefor the money

I nearly didn't buy the Spotlifter after reading all the negative reviews but I'm really glad I did. We have four cats and it's a constant chore keeping up with upchucked hairballs and food.Several of the positive reviews came from people with multiple cats and dogs so I decided to try it out. It arrived today and in less than an hour, I not only picked up a room full of new spots but also the stains left from previously cleaned older spots. I did not buy the Pet cleaning solution offered as an option and just used the solution that came with the machine. I selected the Spotlifter with the cord because, while I like the convenience of a cordless machine, the 15-minute run time before requiring a charge would not cut it with four cats to keep up with. It would be great for a one or two cat household. As to some of the complaints in the negative reviews, I found most of them to be either the result of not using common sense or failing to read the instructions... 5/5 Kindle Customer (Tallahassee, FL USA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Better than hands and knees!

I have had the Thane H20 Mop Ultra for several months and have used it at least once a week, sometimes more, since we purchased it. I have not had the problems that some of the other reviewers have had. It did puddle a little the first time I used it, but the instructions say to expect that. It has not done that again. It cleans the floor very well and if there is something really stuck on, I go over it a few times and it comes up. Here are the pros, cons, and suggestions for use:Pros:No chemicalsWith comfort taken into consideration, better than hands and knees cleaning (which was previously my preferred method because it cleans better than any mop)Doesn't take very long to clean my kitchen floorCons:The microfiber cloths come off if they get too wetYou have to move rather quickly to prevent the heads from getting too wetYou have to have the mop head at an angle or else it comes off the floor when you're pulling it back... 4/5 sb2003 - See all my reviews This review is from: H20 3-in-1 Ultra Steam Mop (Kitchen) I have had the Thane H20 Mop Ultra for several months and have used it at least once a week, sometimes more, since we purchased it. HORRIBLE MOP - BEWARE!

I have never written a review before, but I felt I had to with this one! I bought this mop 2 years ago and have only used it a few times because every time I try it I get frusterated all over again. I have been on the search for the best mop out there and this seemed to be the answer - WRONG!! The pad doesn't stay on the machine, it slides right off each time I use it. My husband has tried tightening it several different ways, but each time after a few minutes it slides off again. Plus when you go to put it back on it's HOT because of the steam. It takes SO much longer to mop my floor with this mop. Now when it works, it does a pretty good job, but you have to hold it in place for at least 15 seconds on hard spots to get them clean. The cord is constantly getting in the way as well. I do like the hand held steamer to clean other things, so that is why I kept it, but now after having it 2 years and only using it a handful of times, the steam stopped working!! SERIOUSLY!!! THANE ARE CROOKS!!

I ordered the mop for my wife directly from their website, but no one will see my review there. I am sure they will just remove it. Anyways, I will start by saying this mop is the biggest piece of junk ever made! It is not at all user friendly. Of course since it is a mop that is what we tried first, using it as the mop. It stuck to the floor, didn't clean anything and just kept puddling. I tried to turn it off and to no avail it stayed on. I am all about second chances so I tried it in the shower, did absolutely nothing but pull the sealant out of the cracks in the tile. The worst part is that I went to return it and they told me I was going to be out shipping and handling which was over $40. I got my return number and sent it back. The return postage cost me $25 to be back. I paid about $170 for this thing and lost $65 on postage. I would not recommend this product to anyone. If you buy it after readiung this review, you are crazy! I am not exaggerating at all. You have been... 1/5 Jeffrey M. Vernocke "Jeff Vernocke" (Port Huron, MI) - See all my reviews, June 10, 2010
